I live in eastern Newfoundland, Canada, and have been painting in watercolor for over thirty years and teaching the medium for close on twenty years. I am mainly a landscape painter with a particular interest in the rugged beauty of our province. This "rock in the ocean" sits one hundred miles out in the North Atlantic and is the most easterly point of North America.
I have been influenced by, and studied with: James Scott, Tony Van Hassalt, Judy Wagner, Stirling Edwards, Doug Mays and Tony Couch. My works hang in the provincial government collection as well as other public and private collections in North America and Europe. I am currently represented by two provincial galleries, Ocean View Gallery in Carbonear and Island View Gallery in Conception Bay South.
